Electromyography (EMG) is an electrodiagnostic medicine technique for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles. EMG is performed using an instrument called an electromyograph to produce a record called an electromyogram. EMG testing has a variety of clinical and biomedical applications. EMG is used as a diagnostics tool for identifying neuromuscular diseases, or as a research tool for studying kinesiology, and disorders of motor control. This trainer is designed to demonstrate the operation, theory, repair and servicing of EMG equipment that used at clinics & hospitals. The unit is given the fault diagnosis so as to facilitate the teaching of trouble shooting techniques. A fault simulator is provided with circuit block diagram of the device for the students to study theoretically and experimentally in order to understand the operation of the Device.
