Electrocardiography (ECG ) is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes placed on the skin. These electrodes detect the tiny electrical changes on the skin that arise from the heart muscle’s electrophysiologic pattern of depolarizing during each heartbeat. It is a very commonly performed cardiology test. Labtech ECG Electrocardiography Training Unit is designed to demonstrate the operation, theory, repair and servicing of ECG equipment that used at clinics & hospitals. The unit given the fault diagnosis so as to facilitate the teaching of trouble shooting techniques. A fault simulator is provided with circuit block diagram of the device for the students to study theoretically and experimentally in order to understand the operation of the device.
