Extracorporeal shock wave therapy machine is defined as a wave with a rapid increase of pressure within a very short time and then having a gradual decrease of pressure with a small negative pressure phase. Shock wave is aimed at the affected areas source of pain as tennis elbow, shoulder rotator cuff pain, achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, and greater trochanteric pain syndrome. The trainer is designed to demonstrate the operation, theory, repair and servicing of extracorporeal shock wave therapy equipment that used at clinics & hospitals. The unit given the fault diagnosis so as to facilitate the teaching of trouble shooting techniques. A fault simulator is provided with circuit block diagram of the device for the students to study theoretically and experimentally in order to understand the operation of the device.
