A lithotripter is a noninvasive device that breaks up kidney stones by passing electromagnetic shock waves through a water bath while a patient sits inside. The lithotripter provides a nonsurgical means of pulverizing stones into pieces small enough to be passed naturally in the patient’s urine. The trainer is designed to demonstrate the operation, theory, repair and servicing of Lithotripter Test equipment that used at clinics & hospitals. The unit given the fault diagnosis so as to facilitate the teaching of trouble shooting techniques. A fault simulator is provided with circuit block diagram of the device for the students to study theoretically and experimentally in order to understand the operation of the device.
